Funeral Piper
Hire in Scotland

Mackenzie
Bagpiping delivers a full funeral package to our customers.
This involves playing for the funeral party as they arrive at
the cemetery/crematorium. Traditionally the piper would play a
slow air or lament as the coffin is being lowered. To complete
the service we also recommend having the piper play when guests
are leaving the funeral service.
We can
provide the following,
-
Playing for the
guests arriving at the
church/chapel.
-
Playing a Slow Air
or Lament on the small pipes as the coffin is
lowered (cremation).
-
Piping the coffin
to the grave side
(burial).
-
Piping as the
coffin is lowered.
-
Playing for the
guests departure from grave
side.
The above
list of duties are only a recommendation. If you have any
specific requests we will be able to help you with
them.
Below are
two tunes that we play at funeral
services.
