I have been taking Donald's lesson for 2 months and I really enjoy it because he is a friendly and patient teacher. He gives me good examples and explanation. Every lesson he sets a new practice goal which suites my level.
I would like to say thank you to him because when I can't understand english he explain his lessons using different words until I understand. Ayako Ota.

'When I first started going for lessons with Donald, I was quite nervous as my only previous tutor had been my father from the age of seven. However, i needn't have been, for Donald couldn't have made me feel more at ease if he tried. He also spent time developing my tuning skills and teaching me about the phrasing of various tunes and pibroch, and how to express them in a more melodic form. He is so passionate about piping and I've learned so much from him. I now consider him not only my tutor, but my friend.'
